Audrey Tautou
Audrey Tautou was born in Beaumont in Puy-de-Domme France on August 9 1976 the eldest child of four. Audrey's parents as a dentist and teacher, were aware of and supported their daughter's passion for drama and theater at an early stage. Their support is more than enough for Audrey to thwart her initial ambition to be a an animal scientist. The early success of her career and the rapid rise in fame made her a promising young actor. Following her graduation She was a part of the French show for spotting talent Jeunes Premiers which was backed by Canal+. She won the Most Outstanding Young Actress prize at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors and started her acting career. Tautou was educated at Institut Catholique de Paris, went to church when she was a child and was brought up Catholic. She is now separating herself from this background. Her acting and modelling careers are interspersed. Her image was the mainstay for L'Oreal Mont Blanc Chanel, and she is often known as the Chanel Muse. She is a keen photographer and created a show at The Arles International Festival titled Superficial. Through her photography, she concentrates on fame and fame. The camera's focus is towards journalists who scrutinized her during her rise to fame in Amelie. Audrey Tautou's international success and fame soared after her performance as Amelie Poulain's main woman in Le Fabuleux in the film d'Amelie. Amelie received international acclai film box office successes and was acclaimed at awards ceremonies all over the world. The film is still the top-grossing French language film to date in the US. In the years following the release of this film, Tautou starred in many films that ranged from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's long dimanche de fiancailles. Then she moved into Hollywood and starred with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
