April Lockhart was born on July 4 1995 In seventh grade she began playing guitar and piano classes, which ignited her love for writing songs. April's first song was Different, which she wrote at 12 years of age. At the age of 14, April spent a lot of her time creating song concepts and practicing her music. She started writing songs alongside her father in NY and LA shortly after. April added other themes to the track "Take My Hand" to help her the friends she had who struggled with issues such as peer pressurization disabilities, and even teenage suicide.
